What made the ending of Saturday's game so memorable and Flack's contribution so incredible is that, after his first home run put UNC ahead in the bottom of the eighth, Carolina stood just three outs from winning and going to Omaha, Neb., home of the College World Series. The Tar Heels sent their top relief pitcher, Andrew Carignan, to get the final three outs. (
