Tar Heel individuals sparkle at NCAA Championships


Laura Gerraughty and Justin Ryncavage ensured North Carolina had the best NCAA track and field championships in the school's history. One day after won the discus throw, Gerraughty emerged as the champion in the shot put while Ryncavage triumphed in the javelin throw to give UNC three individual titles in one meet for the first time in program history.
