No. 10 UNC hands No. 2 Pack first series L of season
Posted Apr 28, 2018
UNC never trailed in beating NC State 8-6 Saturday, giving the No. 2 Wolfpack a series L for the first time this season. The No. 10 Tar Heels scored four runs on three Pack mistakes late: a wild pitch in the seventh inning, a passed ball in the ninth and a Brandon Riley two-RBI single which scored Michael Busch and Kyle Datres, who was on base after being hit by a pitch.
