McCool Named ACC Midfielder Of The Year, Ortega ACC Freshman Of The Year

The ACC honored two Tar Heels as recipients of the 2018 ACC Women's Lacrosse annual awards. Marie McCool is ACC Midfielder of the Year for the second straight season, and attacker Jamie Ortega is the ACC Freshman of the Year. McCool, a three-time First Team All-ACC selection, is the first player in ACC women's lacrosse history to repeat as ACC Midfielder of the Year.
