UNC Women's Lacrosse Downs Northwestern To Earn 7th Final Four Trip In 10 Years

Taylor Moreno made 17 saves and six Tar Heels scored multiple goals as second-seeded North Carolina defeated Northwestern 19-14 in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday at Kenan Stadium. UNC clinched its seventh trip to the NCAA Tournament Final Four in the last 10 seasons. The Tar Heels will face James Madison in next weekend's NCAA semifinals.
