N.C. State hires assistant basketball coach

NC State hired Roy Roberson, a long-time high school coach in Virginia, as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball program, the school announced Monday. Roberson spent 12 seasons as the coach of E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Va. N.C. State coach Kevin Keatts said he has known Roberson for years. Roberson said the relationship goes back about 30 years.
