Is it Thomas' Time?


The largest member of the North Carolina football team has earned a spot in the rotation at defensive tackle this spring. Now 6-foot-4, 330-pound redshirt freshman must make the most of his opportunity. Spread out at an angle, Thomas can easily tie up two offensive linemen. He’s a natural hole plugger. But Thomas also has the potential to become a mainstay on the Tar Heels' defensive front for years to come. (Inside Carolina)
