On March 13, UNC linebacker Larry Edwards appeared in Orange County District Court to face the charge of damage to real property. Police said that during what they called a near-riot outside the club, Edwards broke a steel-framed glass entry door at the Bank of America building. Edwards' deferred prosecution agreement states that he must complete 24 hours of community service at a local middle school or community center by May 22. He also must pay a $110 fine and a $200 community service fee.
