North Carolina Outlasts Pittsburgh, 38-35

North Carolina overcame a halftime deficit to win its ACC opener for the third time in four years with a 38-35 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday. The Tar Heels rolled up 486 yards of offense with a balanced attack while the defense rallied to hold Pitt to seven points and 105 yards after halftime. Nathan Elliott completed 22-of-31 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns.
