There have been two sides to North Carolina’s defense this season. Against Cal, the Tar Heels allowed 262 total yards. At ECU, they allowed 510 yards. Both sides were on display again Pitt, as the Panthers amassed 28 points and 297 first-half yards but were held scoreless by UNC for minus-five yards in the third quarter.
