Tar Heels Picked Third In ACC, Luke Maye Named Preseason ACC Player Of The Year

North Carolina is predicted to finish third in the ACC men's basketball standings in 2018-19, as voted on by media members at the league's media day Wednesday. UNC received 20 of 121 first-place votes. Duke is the preseason favorite to win the ACC and Virginia is picked second. UNC forward Luke Maye is the media's selection as the ACC Preseason Player of the Year.
