Mack Brown Through the Years
Posted Nov 27, 2018
Mack Brown got things going at North Carolina. He won six games in 1990, seven games in 1991, and nine games in 1996, capping it with a Peach Bowl win over Mississippi State. It was the first bowl appearance for the Tar Heels since 1986, an Aloha Bowl loss to Arizona. The 1992 season was the start of UNC's most successful period since the Charlie Justice era in the late 1940s.
