Mack Brown making an impression on 4-star QB Sam Howell's camp

A source close to Monroe (NC) Sun Valley 4-star quarterback Sam Howell said news of Florida State offensive coordinator Walt Bell leaving for the head coaching job at UMass was a “blow” and a “bombshell.” With Bell leaving, it sounds like Howell will take it slow, as he’s also waiting to see who new North Carolina coach Mack Brown hires as his offensive coordinator.
