Showing the poise of veterans, North Carolina’s freshmen, with a little help from their only senior teammate, made sure their first NCAA tournament experience wasn’t their last game this season. All four rookies played roles down the stretch and veteran David Noel got a key rebound in the final seconds to help the third-seeded Tar Heels hold off a stiff challenge from Murray State.
