His beard has begun a life of its own, but there’s no mistaking it: There’s more to Mitch Trubisky’s maturation as a person, leader and emerging NFL quarterback than his growing facial hair. The beard likely won’t be shaved until the Bears’ season is over. At least that’s what those close to him hope to see. Chicago’s second season begins Jan. 6.
