Luke Maye reflects on Kentucky history, prepares for another potential meeting


Two years later, can’t hold back a grin when someone brings up the significance of March 26. For North Carolina fans, the date has become unofficially known as “Maye Day,” in recognition of Maye’s game-winning shot against Kentucky in the 2017 South Region final to send the Tar Heels to the Final Four, and eventually, their sixth NCAA championship.
