During Wednesday's pregame warm-ups, an N.C. State fan yelled something at forward David Noel that he said was unprintable. "I was like, 'No, he did not just say that to me,' " the North Carolina senior later said. So the Tar Heels forward responded with something that made a lot more of the Wolfpack faithful curse: a career-high 25 points and 11 rebounds in a 95-71 blowout victory. (Raleigh News & Observer)
