4-star defensive lineman Tonka Hemingway commits to South Carolina

South Carolina's pursuit of defensive lineman Tonka Hemingway came to a close Thursday with the Conway (S.C.) standout committing to the Gamecocks. The 6-foot-2, 260-pounder chose South Carolina over Duke, Georgia, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Maryland, and West Virginia. Hemingway had officially visited UNC, his perceived No. 2 school.
