Billy Cunningham's Impact On Sixers History Was Felt Twice Over


Nicknamed the “Kangaroo Kid” because of his leaping ability, averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists over his 11-year pro career, which included nine seasons with the Sixers and two with the ABA’s Carolina Cougars. Named to the Hall of Fame in 1986, he was selected as one of the NBA’s 50 greatest players of all time a decade later. (Forbes)
