Willie Parker is on Super journey
Posted Feb 2, 2006
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Willie Parker rushed for 1,202 yards during the regular season. That number was 30 yards more than he gained in his four-year career at North Carolina. It's a strange story. Parker, never more than just another running back with the Tar Heels, was an afterthought by 2003, his senior year. He gained 181 yards, and didn't even play in his final college game.
