They call it "Monsoon." As nightfall had fully settled in around Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, VA, on Saturday, Phil Longo reached into his bag of tricks against Virginia Tech and let ‘er rip. North Carolina’s offensive coordinator had been waiting a few weeks to use it, and when finally presented with a situation where it made sense, he pulled the trigger.
