Reactions to Five-Star Desmond Evan's Commitment to UNC

UNC landed its highest-ranked football recruit since 2007 when 2020 five-star defensive end Desmond Evans committed to the Tar Heels during a ceremony at his high school. Evans becomes the gem of UNC's class. The 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect is an elite talent and the No. 22 overall player in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
