Tar Heels' Hansbrough succeeds with dedication


The dreams acted out in his basement seem modest now that he plays in front of 22,100 fans at the Smith Center. As a child, Hansbrough imagined himself playing for Three Rivers Community College in his hometown of Poplar Bluff, Mo. But Hansbrough has far exceeded those dreams. He is North Carolina's top scorer and the leading candidate for ACC Rookie of the Year heading into today's game with Miami. (Charlotte Observer)
