Vanderbilt turns to Jerry Stackhouse to revive basketball program

Jerry Stackhouse will coach his first Vanderbilt game on Wednesday night against Southeast Missouri State. His high profile as a star player and lack of college coaching experience make it an intriguing debut. Stackhouse’s record ultimately will determine whether he can turn around a slumping Vanderbilt program, but that probably will take time.
