Mack Brown At NC State The First Time Around

In Mack Brown’s first stint in Chapel Hill from 1988-1997, he posted a 5-5 record against the Wolfpack, losing his first five before winning five straight. Three of those wins came on the road. As the Tar Heels prepare to make the trek to Carter-Finley Stadium, let’s take a look back at Brown’s five road games against N.C. State, starting with his first in 1989:
