Steelers Inside Slant
Posted Dec 22, 2005
Willie Parker is a second-year pro who played little as an undrafted rookie in 2004 and entered training camp this year fourth on the Steelers' depth chart. He's a native of Clinton, N.C., who played at North Carolina but never did nail down a starting job with the Tar Heels. Now he needs just 63 yards in two games to become the first Steeler to rush for 1,000 yards since Jerome Bettis in 2001.
