UNC happy to be on West Coast

At 6-1, the young Tar Heels have certainly earned a short vacation. Ranked 17th in this week’s AP poll, Carolina has spent the last few days relaxing in Los Angeles before returning to work tonight against Southern Cal (7-2). “Going on the road always makes a team closer,” senior said. “Playing all the way out on the West Coast against a great team in USC is going to be good for us. And hopefully we’ll play a little better.” (Fayetteville Observer)
