Sam Howell Named Finalist For Freshman Of The Year Award

UNC quarterback Sam Howell is one of three finalists for the 2019 FWAA Shaun Alexander Freshman Player of the Year Award. This award recognizes the most outstanding freshman in the FBS ranks by The Football Writers Association of America. The Award will be announced at the FWAA Awards breakfast on Monday, Jan. 13 in New Orleans.
