Q&A: Dante Calabria
Posted Dec 6, 2005
You might see Dante Calabriaplaying basketball in the World Championships next summer. But he won't be on the U.S. team. Calabria, a former star guard at Blackhawk High School in Beaver County, is now in his 10th season playing professionally in Europe. He has dual citizenship (U.S. and Italy) and plays in the Italian League for Armani Jeans in Milano. But he also plays for Italy's international team in the Euroleague, competing against other top teams in Europe.
