Brandon Robinson Channels 'Mamba Mentality' in Gutsy Performance
Posted Jan 28, 2020
Brandon Robinson stepped to the free-throw line with 50 seconds remaining and North Carolina up 71-63 against NC State. The Tar Heels had missed five straight free throws and hadn't scored since the 3:50 mark. Looking to seal the game, Robinson's teammates reminded him to have the 'Mamba Mentality,' to channel his childhood hero, Kobe Bryant.
