The spring of 1995 was like no other in baseball history. Michael Jordan was entering his second season in baseball after his shocking first retirement from the Chicago Bulls in October 1993. He knew he wouldn’t be asked to cross the picket line when the season began, but he also knew the White Sox needed his name to help sell their replacement team.
