For those of us watching from beyond the hardwood, North Carolina’s late-game theatrics have reached tragically comical proportions. Before Nate Laszewski set his feet to fire the game-winning three-pointer with 2.4 seconds left on Monday night, even casual basketball observers fully expected the lanky sophomore forward to lift Notre Dame to victory.
