The Loudest Moment


A whistle, a bank, and a bucket. Steve Kirschner didn’t see ’ shot against Duke on March 6, 2005, but he heard it. From where he’s positioned on the North Carolina sideline he gets blocked easily. When exciting things happen, assistant coaches and players jump up and Kirschner doesn’t—he’s not supposed to—so his view is non-existent. (Inside Carolina)
