David Noel one of new leaders for Tar Heels

David Noel has taken on many roles in his previous three seasons at North Carolina. Walk-on. Acrobatic dunker. Defensive-minded swingman. The senior's latest - and most demanding - role got off to a good start Saturday night against Gardner-Webb. Noel, the team leader, saved the defending NCAA champions from an embarrassing upset by hitting the game-winning 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds left.
