Roy Williams knew there would be games like this. Without the top seven scorers from last season's national championship team, nothing is going to come easy for North Carolina. Not even against Gardner-Webb. David Noel made a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds left and the defending champs began what promises to be a rebuilding season by holding off the Runnin' Bulldogs 83-80 Saturday night.
