Vince Carter misses out on proper NBA sendoff

The final game of Vince Carter’s remarkable NBA career was scheduled to take place Wednesday night in Atlanta. Carter, a Daytona Beach Mainland High alum and former Orlando Magic player, announced his intention to retire last summer before the start of his second season with the Hawks. Carter took the court for the last time on March 11.
