UNC will start three freshmen
Posted Nov 18, 2005
North Carolina coach Roy Williams expects to start three freshmen Saturday when the Tar Heels open their men's basketball season. If so, it would mark only the second time in school history. Williams said Thursday he thinks he will start point guard Bobby Frasor, shooting guard Marcus Ginyard and center Tyler Hansbrough against Gardner-Webb at 8 p.m. at the Smith Center. The freshmen will join junior Reyshawn Terry at small forward and senior David Noel at power forward.
