Despite a strong offer from the NBA G League, , the No. 9 player in the 2020 basketball recruiting class, committed to Texas on Friday. Brown opted to stay home and play for Shaka Smart rather than take an offer in excess of $300,000 for the NBA G League, per sources. and opted for that route over college last week. (247 Sports)
