Michael Jordan arrived at UNC as a 6-foot-6, skinny kid from Wilmington, N.C. He went on to become one of the best players in UNC and NBA history. Tar Heel head coach Dean Smith recruited Jordan to Chapel Hill and the NBA superstar credits Coach Smith for much of his development as a player and person. In terms of his game, Jordan improved greatly at UNC.
