NBA player and Ames native, Harrison Barnes, is taking the suspended season to assist in any way he can. "Understand that it's bigger than basketball. It's bigger than you," Barnes said. He's been averaging 14.7 points for the Kings this season, but now his focus is on the people of Sacramento who need assistance. Barnes and his wife, Brittany, have donated $40,000.
