Did you know that the iconic image that inspired the Jordan brand logo actually features Michael Jordan in New Balance? The photo, taken in 1984, made headlines before, namely when photographer Jacobus Rentmeester sued Nike for using the image beyond the original terms of the agreement, but the New Balance sneakers are an interesting footnote.
