Recruiting History: Sam Perkins, Unassuming Star

Sam Perkins was on his way to becoming nothing more than a playground legend when he ran across a man who helped him achieve his potential. While Perkins started out on Earl “The Goat” Manigault path, he ended with a career closer to Michael Jordan’s, in that the two were teammates for three seasons at UNC and played in the NBA seemingly forever.
