Ty Lawson skips shot to impress Nuggets

The big prize was to be the presence of North Carolina's Ty Lawson, whose draft stock has risen among NBA teams that need help at point guard. But Lawson was a no-show at the Nuggets' college player workouts Sunday, two days after he was arrested and charged with driving after consuming alcohol. According to Nuggets coach George Karl, Lawson, also had been dealing with nagging injuries. But Karl still was surprised not to see him.
