Harrison Barnes' latest donation shows he's still a hometown kid

Harrison Barnes has won an NBA championship. He’s won an Olympic gold medal. His career earnings are around $90 million. Through all that, though, Ames, Iowa has remained central to his life — and a mission to give back. This week, Barnes and his wife, Brittany, donated nearly $200,000 to upgrade the gym at his alma mater, Ames High.
