Jefferson Boaz on NCHSAA Male Athlete of the Year award, UNC future

Jefferson Boaz was named the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Male Athlete of the Year. The 6-foot-7-inch, 240 pound, multi-skilled quarterback committed to play football at UNC under head coach Mack Brown. Jefferson's father also played at UNC under Brown from 1992-1994. "From day one, Carolina was where I wanted to go," Boaz reflected.
