UNC's transitioned from quarterback to linebacker in 2019, and it worked out so well for the Tar Heels that he was voted first-team All-ACC and runner-up for ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Surratt ranked second in the ACC with 115 tackles on the season and fifth in the league with 15 tackles for loss.
