Tar Heels make pitch for Brandan Wright


Here's what highly acclaimed basketball recruit was witness to on his final official campus visit: , in a good-natured parody of TV sports anchorman -- and North Carolina alum -- , hosting an impromptu version of the "Newlywed Game". The comedy writing and choreography might have left Wright shaking his head quizzically. But the top-five recruit from Nashville, Tenn., was impressed by what came near the end of the festivities: the unfurling of a 2005 NCAA championship banner from the Smith Center rafters.
