UNC Football falls to No. 15 in AP poll, extends longest top 15 streak in 12 years

After the Tar Heels’ 48–21 victory Saturday over N.C. State, North Carolina fell one spot to No. 15 in the Associated Press college football poll. Seven consecutive weeks in the top 15 are the most since UNC did it for 23 consecutive polls from Sept. 21, 1996, to Sept. 5, 1998. All but the last two weeks were during Coach ’s first stint at Carolina. (Tar Heel Tribune)
