Tar Heels play another top team well but again fall short of historic win

In North Carolina's second chance at a historic win in two seasons, the Tar Heels showed that they can play with anybody in the country. With UNC forced to punt a season-high seven times, the Irish escaped from Kenan Stadium with a 31-17 victory. (Tar Heel Tribune)
