Tar Heels expect to have McGill back this week

North Carolina expects to have tailback Ronnie McGill back for Saturday's game at No. 23 Louisville, nearly four months after he had surgery to repair a torn muscle in his chest. Coach John Bunting broke the news to McGill's mother, Juanita, on Monday night. "She was thrilled that her son would be playing again," Bunting said Tuesday. "She only had a few words for me: 'Don't let him get hurt.' I said I'll do the best I can."
